The Saint Mary’s University Students’ Association (SMUSA) is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1966 to provide services, support, advocacy and representation to all of its members, the students of Saint Mary’s University.
The office provides information and guidance to students while promoting the plan, providing benefits information and processing claims.
The Saint Mary’s University Student Health Services provides treatment for illness and injuries quickly. It is the family clinic for students away from home.
The International Center provides the right support to students coming from another country. The services include airport pick-up, student permit renewal, conflict management, etc.
Accessibility for persons with disabilities has long been a cornerstone of the philosophy of Saint Mary's University. The Fred Smithers Centre for Support for Students with Disabilities offers services, programs and infrastructure that support Saint Mary’s students with disabilities.

The purpose of Husky Patrol is to provide a free and safe driving service, to and from the University campus, for SMU students, faculty and staff. While on campus, book a drive by visiting the SMUSA Information Desk. While off-campus, book a drive by calling the Husky Patrol Service at the SMUSA Information Desk.
The Wellness Centre is a quiet, calm space provided for all SMU students to use. We offer snacks such as granola bars, and drinks such as gatorade, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The Wellness Centre has colouring books, a Buddha Board and other tools to help relieve stress. We encourage you to stop by and use this room as you need.
The Counselling Centre provides a broad range of free and confidential services to students currently registered and attending classes at Saint Mary's University. We offer individual counselling, academic and life skills coaching and consultations for faculty and staff. The Counselling Centre also offers group programs/presentations, oversees The Healthy Minds Team volunteer program and offers training for faculty, staff and students.

Course-Based Service Learning (CBSL) is an experiential learning approach which links community-based experience with course content. CBSL involves a range of activities intended to benefit the service provider (the student) and the recipient (the community partner), while maintaining a focus on learning.

The SMU Women’s Centre is located on the fifth floor of the Student Union Building (SUB) on campus. We are open Monday–Friday from 11-4 during the regular academic year. Our office space although small has computers, and a few couches if you would like to either hang out, work on homework or study in a different setting. We are an awesome feminist-centered space that welcomes all genders and orientations.
