Important Notice

You must complete the opt-out application and provide proof of your active OHIP card.

You will only be opted out if your OHIP card is fully active for this policy year (e.g., valid from January 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025). Please note, if you utilize the International Health Plan (make a claim), an opt-out will not be granted.

Students with account balances owing on their student accounts will have their refunds credited back into their student accounts.

Students who do not have an account balance owing will receive an e-transfer link to their school issued email address to log in and deposit it into their bank account. 

Students can expect their opt out refunds late February.
