BLACKOUT PERIOD IS IN EFFECT

For International students enrolled in the 2024-25 Policy Year: During the month of September, there is a blackout in effect for your coverage.

You have valid coverage, but health plan cards and direct billing at some provider offices may not yet be available.
Students covered under the DSU International Health Plan will not receive their health plan cards until late September 2024.

During the Blackout period, if you need to seek medical care, you can do so at the campus health clinic.

If you visit a clinic other than the campus health clinic, you may be asked to pay up front for services. If you do pay up front, you can submit a claim for reimbursement. Reimbursement will be made if the claim is eligible and after the Blackout period.
