This plan provides coverage for prescription drugs, dental, paramedical, and more.
NOTE: Accidental / Emergent Dental benefit claims are covered at a dental office provided that the dentist provides supporting documentation that care was received due to an accident or emergency. If this documentation is not received at time of claim there will be delays with processing as we wait for this information to be made available.

Prescription Drugs - 100% up to $500
Diabetic Supplies - 100% up to $500
Asthma Supplies - 100% up to $500
Vaccines (Exc;uding Travel Vaccines) - 100% up to $100/Vaccine
Mental Health Coverage
No matter what your mental health journey looks like, you have coverage through your plan to support your mental health care.
Psychologist, Psychiatrist, and Psychotherapist (including Trauma Counselling) - 100% up to $10,000/Lifetime
Social Worker - 100% up to $500
Transportation
The Drug and Dental plan also includes coverage for various transportation needs including:
Ground Ambulance –100% up to $10,000
Air Ambulance –100% up to $300,000
Taxi or Uber to hospital (in lieu of Ambulance) - 100% up to $125
Wellness Coverage
Licensed and Registered: Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Chiropodist, Massage Therapist, Osteopath, Podiatrist, Acupuncturist, Speech Therapist, or Naturopath - 100% up to $1,000 per type for injury or illness
*Doctor's referral required at time of first claim for all visits to a paramedical practitioner listed above.
Eye Exams - 100% up to $100
Eyeglasses, Contact Lenses, Hearing Aids, Orthotics (due to injury) - 100% up to $400/Benefit
Medical Equipment & Supplies (Rental of Crutches, Wheelchairs, Splints, Canes, etc.) - 100% up to Policy Maximum
Leg Brace (due to injury) - 100% up to $1,000
Dental Coverage
If you are unsure if your medical or health care procedure will be covered by the plan, you can submit a pre-determination form before you receive your services or procedure.
Preventative Care (Oral Exam) - 100% up to $600 Combined Maximum
Preventative Care (Cleaning & X-Rays) - 80% up to $600 Combined Maximum
Restorative Care (Fillings & Extractions) - 80% up to $600 Combined Maximum
Accidental Dental - 100% up to $4,000
Emergency Tooth Pain Relief - 100% up to $1,000
Wisdom Teeth Extractions - 100% up to $100/Tooth

Virtual Health Clinic
Use the Virtual Health Clinic to have a medical appointment by video with a Canadian medical provider, 24/7. Our medical providers are available day or night to help you with your medical concerns, prescribe medication, refer you to a specialist, and even refer you for blood work and x-rays!
The Virtual Health Clinic can help with over 500 medical issues including:

While the medical & wellness plan is very inclusive, there are things that are not covered by the insurance.

Services provided by a family member

An Illness or injury resulting from non-compliance with medical treatment or therapy that has been prescribed;

Participation in a criminal act or attempt to commit a criminal act, regardless of whether charges are laid or a conviction is obtained

Over-the-counter medications, dietary supplements and health & beauty aids

Services, treatment or supplies that are:
I.not Medically Necessary;
II.for cosmetic purposes only;
III.elective in nature; or
IV.experimental or investigative.
