Your opt-out is successful when you see a pop up that says "SUCCESS!" and receive a confirmation e-mail to your @algomau.ca e-mail address. If you do not see either of these items, your opt-out was likely not received. Please try again or contact us on the Live Chat for assistance with opting out.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

Please note that your international medical plan is NOT eligible to be used to opt-out of the Student VIP plan, as it is not considered comparable coverage. Your international medical plan is your provincial equivalent plan and does not cover you for the benefits offered by Student VIP.

Note: In order to opt-out, proof of comparable alternative coverage is required. Provincial health plans (i.e. OHIP) or government assistance plans (i.e. ODSP, ODB, Ontario Works) are not acceptable as alternative coverage.
