Your opt-out is successful when you see a pop up that says "SUCCESS!" and receive a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail you registered with on the VIP website. If you do not see either of these items, your opt-out was likely not received. Please try again or contact us on the Live Chat to get assistance with opting out.
Since September 1, 2021 Opt-out refunds have been returned directly onto student accounts in Late-October (1-2 weeks after the opt-out period closes.) Please check your student account around this time to see your opt-out refund.
Provincial coverage plans (ex. AHCIP), are NOT eligible to be used to opt-out of the Student VIP plan.
Those whose opt-outs are sucessful will still be retaining benefits for I.M. Well, AD&D and Travel coverage. Your opt-out reimbursement will be the full plan fee less $20.50.
